Simultaneous Interpreting is used at larger conferences and involves the use of electronic equipment - headphones, microphones, booths, etc - to enable the speakers' information to be translated as it is delivered.

Consecutive Interpreting is suitable for smaller or personal meetings. The interpreter will translate what is said sentence by sentence. This takes longer, but requires less support and preparation.
